All I can say is thank god for express post lol. Order something on friday and it gets here by monday, what a wonderful system. The package in question was a nice little set of items courtesy of an online Australian company called tamarket whose link can be found above this post. The specialise in anime and manga as well as merchendise, imported stuff from Japan mostly and most reasonably priced too with most manga volumes being between $10 and $12 dollars (Australian).

What did I buy you ask? Well I got a healthy little collection of manga and bits and pieces all for $82 dollars lol postage included.
Included in my rarely occuring item binge (living in a rural area limits what you can buy a lot believe me...) are a Tsubasa Chronicles Mokona pencil case, Special A Hikari and Kei fastener (a nice little addition to my ever growing stash of pretty but ultimatley useless merchandise lol...), Imadoki! volumes 1 & 2 and Special A volumes 1 & 2. A decent haul for someone like myself and worth the money I spent though the fastener was a little pricey costing $13 for something as small as it is.

Tamarket itself is an ok site though be prepared to wait a few days before you can actually really order something as they process each order manually and also calculate shipping costs that way to apparently give you the chaepest price possible for your order. Also even if you see something as being in stock when you order it, it may not be in stock when they check your order and so you miss out. There is a sale on currently so some discount stock is available for you bargain hunters out there so buy up while you can...

All in all I'm pretty happy with tamarket and so I recommend it to all those Australian otaku out there and they also do international deliveries though you'll have to check their website for those details.

Witness the birth of my badly raised creation lol. It's all to find an outlet for my increasing boredom and if I can educate or help anybody along the way so much the better. As stated I am an anime fangirl specialising in yaoi (for all those who don't know about it wiki it people before you go any further) in particular but I'm open to most genres.
The town I live in is not the most anime friendly place (the old anime is pokemon an nothing more mentality still exists in abundance to say the least) so finding places to get my fix is tricky.

I'll talk alot about this over the course of my ramblings and try to recommend places for others like myself as I go (some you will know about some you may not have heard of if i discover somethin I'll post it lol).
But it's not just anime and all related topics that you'll find here, I'm a big fan of horror in its many forms too (Stephen King anyone?) so don't be surprised to find numerous rants about the state of the horror movie industry and such smattered through out my posts. I guess what I'm trying to say is that while my posts may focus mainly on the anime industry anything that peaks my interests is fair game from the latest Clive Barker movie to everyday annoyances.
So stick around, have a laugh or two and enjoy the rollercoaster that is the Ravings of an Oz otaku...
